Show us what’s great about living in a community where you own the power. Whether it’s line workers hanging holiday decorations along Main Street or the lights that illuminate your Friday night football game, we want to know what you like best about being in a public power utility community. Share your #CommunityPowered story! To be eligible for a #CommunityPowered prize, post a message, photo, or video using the hashtag #CommunityPowered to your public Twitter or Instagram account. Any user who is a member of a community that has a public power utility can enter for a chance to win. Drawings will take place every Friday from October 12, 2018, to December 28, 2018, at 12 pm ET. All posts from 11:01 am ET the Friday before until 11:00 am ET the day of the drawing will be considered.* Prizes include:

Winners will be randomly selected at each drawing. All eligible photos will be assigned a randomized number, and your odds of winning will vary depending on how many entries are received each week. Winners are eligible for one prize only. The Association will select the drawings and will announce the winners on their social media platforms by sharing the winners’ social media handles, but no other publicity will be used. Winners will be notified by the Association via direct message through the platform to which they posted.
